Salary RN: $51,589 to $56,900 Annually
Salary LVN: $37,258 to $40,824 Annually
Job Description: Performs responsible nursing work or professional administrative nursing work. Direct and coordinate nursing activities of Assertive Community Treatment Team as well as other departments as assigned. Nurse is responsible for an awareness of client conditions and problems and maintaining an acceptable level of nursing care within the program. Registered Nurse provides medication management, health assessment, guidance, and quality assurance to respond to the medical needs that accompany individuals who are vulnerable to the cyclical episodes of acute symptomatology.
Education: Requires Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Should have experience in nursing related work. Prefer experience working with individuals with Mental Illness.
Hours of Work: 8:00am—5:00pm; Monday through Friday (adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program.)
Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current Texas licensure. Valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30lbs., to communicate effectively in writing and orally; sight; hearing; ability to drive a vehicle; access to a personal, reliable vehicle; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
Facility: ACT Team, Bryan; Travel within 7 county service area required.
