Salary: $42,334 to $47,207 Annually       
Salary is based on education & experience

 Job Description: Provides counseling to children and adolescents with behavioral/emotional disorders; using evidence based practices such as CBT and TF-CBT. May provide intensive case management using the Wraparound process according to standards of the National Wraparound Initiative. In conducting case management, will coordinate treatment, engage natural supports, and advocate with other systems including education, juvenile justice and child welfare systems to facilitate the array of services and supports needed to address the client’s personal goals and desired outcomes as identified through the uniform assessment and Recovery Plan, and Wraparound Process. Requires local travel.
Education: Requires Master’s Degree with LPC license
Experience: Entails experience working with children and families; requires knowledge of childhood development.
Hours of Work: 8:00am-5:00pm; Monday through Friday, adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program.
Licenses/Certifications: Ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating office equipment including computer, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write, count, ability to maintain confidentiality and to work closely with others; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
