Salary: $20,086 to $22,077 Annually

Job Description: Primary work front desk medical office involving answering multi-line switchboard, taking messages, receiving visitors, making and keeping records of appointments and maintaining routine files for Emergency Services Intake Referral Department.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Requires 2 years of relevant experience in secretarial work with basic computer knowledge. Ability to maintain clerical records, prepare routine reports, ability to make basic mathematical computations and to understand and follow oral instructions. Have some knowledge of medical terminology. Prefer someone with experience working with individuals with mental illness, must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Good organizational skills are a must.
Hours of Work: 8:00am-5:00pm; Monday through Friday, adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the need of the program.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write, count, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to work closely with others; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
