Salary: $9593 to $10,482.50 Annually                   
Salary is based on education & experience

 Job Description: Assists peers in the recovery of mental illness by providing independent living, coordination, employment-related, and housing-related services to enable the individual to reside in the community and avoid more restrictive levels of treatment; participate as member of peers’ interdisciplinary team; complete all Center-required documentation in Agency clinical software system.
Education: Required High School Diploma or high school equivalency certificate issued in accordance with the law of the issuing state.
Experience: At least one cumulative year of receiving mental health services from or through the Department of State Health Services.
Hours of Work: 10:00am—2:00pm daily; schedule may be flexible in order to attend meetings, scheduled appointments, etc.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment including a computer, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to work closely with others; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
