I am the Child Find /Training Coordinator for the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Program called ECI-First Steps Forward. Our program serves nine counties which are:  Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, Washington, Walker, and Northern Montgomery Counties .  There are 58 ECI programs across Texas that provides services for children 0-3 who have medical diagnosis, atypical development or developmental delays.   ECI was started 27 years ago by parents who wanted every child to have the opportunity to get services that they might need in Texas. My job is to provide information about ECI so people will know about this wonderful service for young children who may qualify.

ECI is state and federally funded, but each program needs a local match.  Our ECI-First Steps Forward Program is going to have our 4thannual KIDS 4 KIDS Dinner Theater & Silent Auction Fundraiser, on April, 5, 2008 at the Brazos Center, 6pm .  It is a Dinner Theater with Kids providing the entertainment, and a silent auction. The attachments below tells how businesses, organizations, agencies and people in the communities that we serve can help.  If your have any questions, please feel free to email or call me at (979) 361-9864.   Our fax number is (979) 361-9847.
