Salary: $62,727 to $70,559 Annually                   Salary is based on education & experience

Job Description: This position provides daytime (M-F 8-5) emergency services/response, information, referral, and intake services, as well as diagnostician services to both adults and children in Brazos and surrounding counties who have behavioral health disorders to determine if individuals meet HHSC eligibility criteria for ongoing mental health services, using the principles of trauma informed care. Position also provides therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral approach with adults. Crisis on Call work required as agency need dictates.
Education: Master’s Degree and licensed as LPHA (LPC or LCSW).
Experience: Should have considerable experience, knowledge, and training in the area of assessment and counseling interventions with both youth and adults. Should have knowledge and experience with accessing community resources and coordinating care to meet the needs of individuals.
Hours of Work: Generally, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm, adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program.
Licenses/Certifications: LPC or LCSW certification required. Must have reliable transportation and safe driving record, valid Texas driver’s license, have valid insurance and be insurable with our insurance company. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) certification, Illness, Management and Recovery certification.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating motor vehicle, operating office equipment, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to work closely with others.
Facility: Brazos County and surrounding offices as needed.
