Salary $37,598 to $45,819 Annually                   Salary is based on education & experience.

Job Description: To provide crisis prevention and management, monitoring, assessment, rehabilitative skills training, service planning and coordination for adults with mental illness in the Brazos County area. Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services are defined as social, educational, vocational, behavioral, and cognitive interventions provided by members of a client’s therapeutic team that address deficits in the individual’s ability to develop and maintain social relationships, occupational or educational achievement, independent living skills, and housing, which are a result of a severe and persistent mental illness. Service coordination involves accessing medical, social, educational, and other appropriate services that will help an individual achieve a quality of life and community participation acceptable to the individual. Crisis on Call work required as agency need dictates.
Education:
Requires Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral, Social Science, Humanities or Educational Field
Experience: Requires experience working with individuals with mental illness, must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Good organizational skills are necessary.
Hours of Work: 8am—5pm; Monday through Friday; may vary based on agency needs.
Licensure/Certifications: Ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Valid Texas driver’s license and are insurable by agency insurance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) certification as well as Illness, Management and Recovery (IMR) certification.
Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a vehicle, communicate effectively both verbally & written, ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Good computer skills necessary; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
